1- The sickle is no longer such an important image to man. Now that we have moved from an agricultural to a more technological society, we arc left with the ancient symbol of the sickle representing mortality and death. As so often happens, this is not necessarily a physical death, but the death of part of ourselves. [1]
The symbol may also be a pun on “sicko” - is there anyone in your life that term might apply to? [3]
2. Fear that one might be sick (“sickle-cell anemia”). [4]
2. God’s Word;
3. The harvest; Joel 3:13; Rev14:14-19. [5]
