If the sky is dark, it can suggest a mood of gloom; but if the sky is bright, it suggests joy. The daytime sky represents infinity and a star-studded sky is a symbol of the unconscious.
Jung saw the night sky as the most suitable place onto which people could project their unconscious desires. The symbolism of the constellations and Zodiac signs are archetypal expressions of the inner world of the unconscious. The image of a blue sky in your dreams may suggest spiritual aspirations but it is also a symbol of contentment. Most dream traditions suggest that to dream of a blue sky brings good luck, whilst cloudy skies are a harbinger of misfortune. Some claim that to dream of a red sky foretells a terrible disaster that will befall the nation.

If in dreams you look at the sky during daylight, it is a sign of openness and clarity in your aims. The night sky, in turn, indicates order, and balance when it is starry. For Jung, at nightfall, the sky was the most appropriate place for the subject to project her unconscious. The symbolism of the constellations and zodiac signs, therefore, are archetypal expressions of the subject’s inner world.
Many oneiric superstitions agree that dreaming of a blue sky heralds good luck.
If it is cloudy, quite the opposite. On the other hand, some believe that a red sky in dreams portends a national disaster. [2]
Vision: Looking at a cloudless, blue sky: your plans will be successful; it also means great joy in the near future.
A cloudy sky: worries, obstacles, or an uncertain future.
If you are looking at Stars: a great desire is being fulfilled.
Depth Psychology: The sky stands for the emotional strength that influences your life, though you may not be aware of it. Dreaming about “being in heaven,” or “seeing heaven” means you have either reached this state or are striving to get there. Do you feel like being in “seventh heaven” right now? To dream of floating in the sky among weird faces and animals, and wondering all the while if you are really awake, or only dreaming, foretells that all trouble, the most excruciating pain, that reach even the dullest sense will be distilled into one drop called jealousy, and will be inserted into your faithful love, and loyalty will suffer dethronement.
To see the sky turn red, indicates that public disquiet and rioting may be expected.

Infinity.
The idea of “above.” A higher power.
A blue sky can represent optimism, possibility, limitless potential, hope, or freedom.
A gray sky can represent a state of mind or emotion (sad, irritable, wistful, reflective, etc.), or a dampening of optimism.
A dark, threatening sky can represent a real or feared challenge or problem in your life, or “dark” emotions (anger, despair, etc.).
A night sky can represent infinite possibilities, awe of nature, infinity, or existence.
If the sky is dark it may reflect our mood of gloominess; if it is bright, our mood of joy
2- The sky signifies the unattainable. Whatever effort we make we can never make the sky tangible.
3- The sky spiritually suggests infinity. It also signifies order particularly that applied to the intuitive function. [8]
It is not surprising, therefore, if sky symbolizes something transcendent: for example, your true (but not yet achieved) self.
(2) Sky may symbolize the realm of consciousness as distinct from earth or sea, representing the unconscious realm.
A dear sky, whether light or dark, signifies happy times ahead; a few clouds, dispersing, are a sign of minor difficulties easily overcome; a few clouds, gathering, indicate obstacles which will require more effort; and a stormy sky portends a period of stress that will require courage and determination.
A gray sky is a sign of reliable friends who will stand by you in all kinds of weather. [10]
If he saw it as green then it [means] good.
If he saw it as yellow then [means] disease & sickness.
If he saw it as red, then it [means] war & bloodshed.
If he sees it as black then it [means] famine & distress.
If he sees that the sky is being coloured [then] there will be affliction & a grand trial in that place. [11]
The day sky represents the ability to see clearly, while the night sky hints at things hidden from view.
The night sky, however, can also represent comfort and security.
A sky full of stars, like sunny skies, is an omen of hope, and great opportunities lie ahead. [12]
Frequently a masculine symbol. Both Hindus and Native Americans speak of “father sky” (See also: Men).
An alternative, higher level of awareness. Possibly a type of flying or ascent dream.
The transcendent, limitless self.
An image that reconnects the dreamer to her / his heritage as a universal being (See also: Star). [13]
If the sky is cloudy and overcast, then it foretells of sadness and trouble.
A dream about a red sky suggests that the dreamer is feeling overwhelmed or threatened by powerful, possibly self-destructive, forces within their own self. [14]
If you dream that you are floating high in the sky among the clouds seeing weird people and creatures, it is a sign that you will be disillusioned with love. [15]
A dark sky means trouble.
A clear sky means peace.
A red sky means judgment or war.
A purple sky can symbolize the second coming of Christ.
The sky can also symbolize witness and faithfulness, Ps. 89:37 [16]
If the sky is cloudy and overcast, then it indicates that you will soon be faced with hardship and anguish. [17]
A few clouds merely show difficulties that you will probably overcome. But watch carefully whether the clouds are gathering or dispersing. [20]
If cloudy and overcast, the sky may be forecasting sadness and trouble. [23]
