Because of its black color, it is tied to the ideas of beginning (mother night, primeval darkness, etc.); for its flight, the chosen messenger. Formerly, it was believed that the crow was the “messenger” of the gods, which gave it a great cosmic significance. Over time, most people associate this bird to the ideas of misfortune and death. In oneiric terms, and taking into account the latter, the crow can be the messenger of your unconscious. First it frightens you, but then it reveals its spiritual wealth.

Associated with witchcraft and oneiric prophecy, some superstitions believe that dreams in which crows appear foretell the future.
