The color of the eyes and its symbolism is important. In our culture, green and blue eyes are very much eroticized. In Islamic countries, people protect themselves studiously from the “evil eye,” but being stared at in a dream is considered a good sign: it means being considered an important and interesting person.
Freud and Jung both considered the eyes—because of their shape—to be a female sexual symbol (the self- destruction of Oedipus is a castration symbol).
Looking yourself in the eye in a dream means self- knowledge; it is a challenge to have courage and see yourself as you really are.
It is important who is looking, in what manner, and what direction. Open eyes show recognition and openness; downcast eyes mean a weakening of the willpower. [1]
If someone in your dream has a third eye, or just one eye, in the centre of the forehead, he or she may be taken as a guru figure representing an inner source of wisdom or (self-) knowledge.
(2) It may represent the super-ego, an internal censor passing judgement on your thoughts and desires and actions. This understanding might be indicated if the eye in the dream seems to be the eye of God (but see *(3) below).
EYE(S)
(3) It may be the eye of God, not as censor, but as a symbol of your true self, the self that it is your destiny to attain or, rather, develop.
(4) The eye may symbolize your way of looking at things, yourself and others. Is it a jaundiced eye, a sad eye, etc.? In this way your eyes represent yourself; in this sense all eyes are ‘soul-ful’ - through them you can see your inner self.
(5) The shape of the eye may be a significant factor. Being shaped like a fish, the eye may carry some of the symbolism of the fish: for instance, fertility (i.e. potential for growth and new life); femininity; or the unconscious, especially with regard to the powers of renewal and creative change that reside there.
If you injure your eyes, worry about them, or damage them in one way or the other, this shows that some one is trying to get the best of you in a business deal.
The same holds true when dreaming you’re wearing a hood over your eyes.
If you are wearing a blindfold that you put on yourself, then this shows that you are the one closing your eyes to the truth of your waking situation. Exceptionally large eyes denote a lucky inheritance of money, while dark eyes bring you romance. [3]

Ability to understand.
Inner vision, knowing, or a connection with God (a higher power).
Self-expression.
A person’s soul or essence.
Seeing someone’s eyes can represent connecting with that person, or feeling watched or criticized in real life (depending on your feelings).
Seeing isolated eyes looking at you can mean you’re feeling watched, intruded upon, or aware of how others see you.
Seemingly random “eyes looking at you” can appear when you’re dropping off to sleep or waking up, although they often have no significant meaning and are best ignored.

To dream of brown eyes, denotes deceit and perfidy.
To see blue eyes, denotes weakness in carrying out any intention.
To see gray eyes, denotes a love of flattery for the owner.
To dream of losing an eye, or that the eyes are sore, denotes trouble.
To see a one-eyed man, denotes that you will be threatened with loss and trouble, beside which all others will appear insignificant. [5]
