Leprechaun / Goblin Dream Meaning

In Irish mythology, a leprechaun is a type of male elf said to inhabit the island of Ireland. They are a class of ‘faerie folk’ associated in Irish mythology and folklore, as with all faeries, with the Tuatha Dé Danann and other quasi-historical races said to have inhabited Ireland before the arrival of the Celts. They usually take the form of an old man and enjoy partaking in mischief. Their trade is that of a cobbler or shoemaker and they are often described as being seen working on a single shoe. They are said to be very rich, having many treasure crocks buried during war-time.

If anyone keeps his eye fixed upon them, they cannot escape, but the moment the eye is withdrawn they vanish. To see a leprechaun in your dream, suggests that you will reap the benefits and rewards of your hard work through perseverance and dedication. Alternatively, you may need reminding of the importance of keeping your focus on the task in hand. To dream that you are a leprechaun refers to the mischievous aspect of your personality.

In folklore, a goblin is a small grotesque creature that likes to cause trouble for humans. Some dream interpreters suggest that dreaming of a goblin suggests an awareness that you haven’t been as helpful as you could be, the dream goblin representing a secret desire to change the way you act. [1]
