Someone with tooth problems (losing teeth, false teeth, cavities, etc.) can represent real or feared issues regarding the person’s: physical, emotional, or mental well-being, ability to cope, achieve, or get what they want in the world, self-expression or ability to communicate clearly.
Dental care items (such as a toothbrush) can represent self-care, responsibility for self (physical, emotional, mental, social, etc.), or a perceived need for more of such.

The closer the teeth are to the incisor, the closer is the relative. Divided in two sections, the upper right incisor represents the father, and the upper left incisor represents the paternal uncle, or it could represent one’s sisters, sons, or a close friend.
