While going uphill can be exhausting and debilitating, a modicum of exertion can also be very stimulating and the accomplishment of the climb can be very satisfying. Going downhill may be easy and exhilarating, but the sense of free fall can also breed terror and create danger or misfortune. Similarly, a downhill plunge that leads to calamity and injury could indicate the fears that are stopping your movement in life. If there is a view at the top of the hill, you may be looking at the motivating forces that underlie your current choices. If you are sailing easily and safely downhill, your unconscious may be signaling the end of a previous dilemma or signaling a need to proceed with blind faith—that no matter what the consequences, you will survive and proceed successfully.
